My Guest Left a Bad Review, What Can I Do?
Guest reviews reflect their experience during their stay. While you may not always agree with a review, it can only be removed if it violates the terms and conditions of the platform where it was posted.
Negative reviews cannot be deleted simply because they are unfavourable. Instead of focusing on removal, consider using guest feedback to improve future stays. Responding professionally to reviews can also help reassure potential guests and demonstrate that you are attentive to concerns.
When Can a Review Be Removed?
A review may be eligible for removal if it:
- Contains offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language
- Includes personal information or violates privacy policies
- Is irrelevant to the actual guest stay
- Clearly violates the platform’s review guidelines
If you believe a review should be removed, please contact us by accessing your Holidu Account and following the steps below:
- Go to More (top right-hand corner) > Contact Us
- Select I need help with a booking
- Enter the booking ID
- Choose I need assistance with a review and submit your request, specifying which guidelines the review violates
