How can I set up discounts in my account?
Thanks to the discounts you can activate on your listing, you will get more visibility, better search results and therefore, more bookings.
To activate discounts in your Holidu listing, follow this simple steps:
- Enter your Holidu account.
- Click on “Configuration” and go into “Pricing”.
- Scroll down the page, and you will see a section called “Attract more guests with discounts”.
- Here you will see the different discounts you can offer guests.
New Listing discount: This discount applies to the very first 3 bookings a property receives. The New Listing discount will be automatically activated for all new properties, with a default discount rate of 20%. The discount will be applied once on the first 3 confirmed reservations. If one of these 3 bookings is cancelled, it will not be counted, and the discount will remain active until it has been applied to 3 confirmed bookings.
For existing Properties:
- Eligible: Any property that has received fewer than 3 confirmed bookings is eligible for the New Listing Discount.
- Not Eligible: Properties with 3 or more confirmed bookings are not eligible for the New Listing Discount.
Good to know: The New Listing Discount cannot be combined with any other discounts. If activated, it will be the only discount applied and will take precedence over all other offers, and cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Discount for mobile phone users: Get more bookings from mobile traffic on Booking.com and Holidu: You can click on Configure, choose the discount percentage to be offered and then click on “Activate”.
Loyalty discount: Attract frequent travellers from Booking.com and Holidu, offer a fixed 10% discount to frequent travellers. To activate this discount, simply click on the button “Activate”.
Early bird discount: Attract families or other people, who like or need to plan their holidays in advance. Choose in the boxes provided the discount percentage and the number of days in advance a booking must be made in order to activate this discount. Then click “Activate”.
Last-minute discount: Use this discount to fill in gaps in the upcoming weeks. Choose in the boxes provided the discount percentage you want to provide and the amount of nights in the immediate future, on which this discount should apply. Then click “Activate”.
Weekly discount: Choose the percentage you want to provide for bookings of 7 nights or longer. Then click “Activate”.
Please keep in mind that the Early-bird and the Last-minute discounts are “rolling” discounts. This means that they follow the calendar, so they are always applied from the booking date onwards. If you have a last-minute discount activated for the upcoming 7 nights, this discount will be applied to any booking made “today” with nights within the following 7 nights, no matter what date “today” is.
