How can I change my cancellation policy?
A more flexible cancellation policy can increase the attractiveness of your property, as facilities with moderate policies tend to get 2 to 5 times more bookings! If you need to change or update your cancellation policy, you can do so directly from your Holidu account by following these simple steps:
- Log in to your Holidu Host account: Head to https://host.holidu.com/app/ and log in with your credentials. Or, use your Holidu Host app.
- Select your property: Click on “Properties” and choose the property for which you’d like to update the cancellation policy.
- Go to Configuration: On the left-hand side, and click on “Configuration”.
- Scroll down to Cancellation Policies: Keep scrolling until you see the “Cancellation Policies” section and click on it.
- Select your preferred policy: Pick the booking platform where you want to update the cancellation policy, then select the one that best fits your needs.
- Save your changes: Remember to click "Save" to finalize your updated policy.
Important Notes:
- The updated policy will only apply to future bookings made after the change. Any reservations made before the update will not be affected.
- If you’re aiming to boost your bookings, consider opting for a more flexible cancellation policy or give your guest a choice (Option available for Airbnb and Holidu). It might make all the difference when guests are deciding on where to stay!
